Porcelain Niches with Satin Glaze
Porcelain stoneware niches with a satin glaze are available in standard sizes or custom cuts upon request. The material has a slightly matte finish, offering an elegant appearance similar to marble.
The satin porcelain is typically fired using a single-firing process at approximately 1200°C. The raw material is gradually brought to peak temperature and then slowly cooled back to room temperature to ensure structural integrity. A subsequent firing at 870–900°C is performed to apply the photographic print, making the product permanent and unalterable over time.
Satin-glazed niches are:
Waterproof
Acid-resistant
Frost-resistant
Scratch-resistant
This high-performance material is composed of a select few minerals: kaolin, quartz, feldspar, and bentonite, resulting in exceptional durability and aesthetic quality.
